Mark Shaevsky & Associates, LLC - Management Advisors provides management and boards of directors with independent, highly experienced advice and counsel on a wide range of business matters, including:  strategic planning; growth opportunity assessment; mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; executive compensation programs; management recruitment and retention; succession planning; financing and investment facilitation; and evaluation and selection of outside professionals.

Joined the law firm of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, Detroit, Michigan, in July, 1961. Elected a Partner in 1964, a Senior Partner in 1969, and practiced with the firm through December 2005.

Practice consisted primarily of corporate and securities work, including: advising public and private corporations on business matters, acquisitions and mergers; federal securities; public offerings; tax and employee benefits; financing and banking transactions; commercial transactions; contracts; real estate and real estate acquisition and financing transactions; business litigation matters; and general corporate and business issues. During this time served as outside general counsel to four companies (and their Boards of Directors and applicable Board Committees) listed on the New York Stock Exchange – Pulte Home Corporation, Handleman Company, Core Industries Inc and Cunningham Drug Stores, Inc. – and as Chairman of the Corporate and Securities Department of the law firm and Chairman of other administrative committees.    Learn more
